• No, the JCA153G is intended to connect to a computer, tablet, or phone supporting video output via USB-C and output video signal to a TV. If you are wishing to capture media, you would need to use a capture card such as the JVA02, JVA06.

• Hi, no, this will only serve as an output connector to display, does not receive nor convert any signal. For that matter I would recommend you the “Cam link 4k” from Elgato, or USB Capture HDMI Gen 2 from Magewell. Both are great.
