If your MacBook has a USB-C Type for its power, then id say yes you can use this, as you can have a USB-C coming into the stand that gives it Power and a USB-C coming out of the stand to power what ever you want to power, i have it set up that exact way, except i dont have a MacBook but use it for my Phone
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Unfortunately, this was not made to deliver power back to the computer. I just ordered one on Amazon to use separately from this stand. That's cool because I am streaming and I wanted to find a way to control my other computer from the other side of the room in the streaming studio. I gathered a few powered usb extensions and connected to the host to this other computer and then just got a second stand separately. Look for the usb-c hubs with "PD" Power Delivery.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The JCT425 connects to the computer via USB-C. In order to charge your computer, IF the computer supports charging via USB-C, you would need to connect another USB-C to USB-C cable from the power adapter to the "Power In" port on the JCT425.
