• It does work with spotify. Just about any app on your phone will work with it. This product is more or less is working with distributing the sound from your phone to your cars speakers. I use spotify... You do however lose some sound quality

• yes and no. what it does is allows your phone to wirelessly play through your car stereo through an fm station. if your phone has spotify, then it'll play what ever your phone does. you do not get playback controls with the unit, not that kind of device.

• No, this does not work with the Spotify app, but you can connect a mobile device that has Spotify and output the signal to this unit.
