Can you wear the device in the shower? null

The device is water resistant not water proof. Do not wear it in the shower.

It is supposed to be water proof and I have gotten mine wet, but i don't wear it in the shower.

No - it is not recommended as it is not totally waterproof. I have never used mine in the shower and still have tons of issues with battery life, button failure, etc... I am on my 4th band via warranty. Terrible quality.

I have not tried wearing it in the shower, but I wouldn't recommend it. From other reviews, I would imagine that it would stop working over time...but it is easy to slip on and off.

I take it off when I shower. It can get splashed but not soaked

The Jawbone UP24 Wristband is splash proof.

Do not attempt to wear it in shower. I will handle sweat but not a load of water.
