I am having the same exact problem. I did all the troubleshooting. Even tried switching the handles and bases. One works perfectly fine and one doesn't work at all. Reached out to JaxJox. It took them over 2 weeks to respond and all they did was refer to warranty coverage, which from reading these Q&As apparently does not help if purchased at Best Buy. For the person who manually fixed, do you recall how you did that? Extremely frustrating.
