QuestionI just bought this and the volume goes up to max by itself anytime powered on I'm about to return it. It isnt auto leveling if I turn the volume down it automatically increases itself.

QuestionI can’t get sound on the bar from tv. I get ARC feed back on tv showing vol level. I see vol level on bar. ARC source is selected. I’ve triple checked tv settings. I can get audio via Bluetooth from my phone.

Questionwe have ours connected to the TV via Bluetooth. The sub keeps cutting out. Is it a bad connection or is there a way to hardwire it to the TV instead?

- Answer Not sure how you connected to the TV via bluetooth, but you can connect by optical cable or HDMI cable, and definitely should. Only the subwoofer should be connected wirelessly to the system.

QuestionI’ve had it for less than a year and it’s started randomly turning itself on and off. It does this both while connected to the tv with the optical cable and playing music from my phone with Bluetooth and while there is full sound (so no silent pauses)

Questionwhat do I do if the sub light is orange and not white? I've paired my soundbar with sub but it connects the light blinks white on the back of the sub connects and then turns orange and does not work.

- Answer The JBL Bar 5.1 Surround uses Bluetooth technology for the remote. If you're using an IR based remote, then it would not be possible to control it.

QuestionI connected my JBL 2.1 HDMI Out to the TV HDMI3 (ARC) In per the instructions. When I turn on my TV via DIRECTV remote, both turn on correctly, but the sound bar shows ARC, picture will not show on the TV. I have to manually change the source to HDMI.

- Answer Our JBL Bar 2.1 can be connected to your television via HDMI, HDMI ARC, analog, or optical. Technically, both HDMI and optical cable can be connected to the soundbar at the same time. It will depend on your TV Settings if the audio will be sent through the optical cable or HDMI. It's best recommended to choose one connectivity as to not confuse both systems, the TV and the soundbar. QuestionI have this hooked up to my new 75" Samsung TV but I can't get the subwoofer to work. It connects to Bluetooth but can't get any sound. Do I have it connected wrong? HDMI and Optical to TV and both are plugged in.

- Answer Our JBL Bar 2.1 is a soundbar-subwoofer system. The wireless subwoofer has to be paired with the soundbar. Please check the steps on page 11 of the Owner's Manual for the instructions. http://bit.ly/2TNmlEC

- Answer Please check the subwoofer LED on your JBL Bar 2.1. It should be in a solid white color. If the white LED is blinking, the connection of the subwoofer to the soundbar is lost. Please try the troubleshooting steps on page 9 of the Owner's Manual using the link to isolate the issue: http://bit.ly/2E6nbmT

QuestionWhen watching movies, the dialogue/narration sound is fairly low in the overall mix compared to the sound effects, score, background noise, etc. I've adjusted settings to every possible variation with no positive result. Any recommendations? Thank you.

QuestionI have a new 8 series Samsung tv and jbl 2.1 soundbar. Nothing I do will fix the audio/video lag. The audio lags behind video. Hooked up via HDMI arc. How do I fix this problem. Controls on the jbl remote do not fix the problem. It makes it worse. Help!!!
