“I've noticed that at soon as the case determines the earbuds are charged, the earbuds will reconnect to a device instead of staying off. How do you keep them off? Manual power off before charging does not change this behavior.”

We recommend that you turn off the Bluetooth on your phone/source device so that your JBL Free will not auto-connect to it.
