A:AnswerTry to download the JBL PartyBox app available on IOS and Android. You can control the lights from there, but before you open the app, make sure the speaker is powered on and its connected via Bluetooth to the device you will be opening the app from.

1. Switch to the BLUETOOTH source by pressing the source button (button with an arrow inside a semi-circle) on top of the speaker. Please make sure that the led on the side of the Bluetooth label is lit.
2. Press on the speaker to enter Bluetooth pairing mode.
3. Choose “JBL PARTYBOX 310” on your Bluetooth device to connect.
4. Once successfully connected, you can stream audio from your Bluetooth device to this speaker.

Or keep ot to daisy chain both!..get a 25 foot 3.5 mm cord have one in front of room and the other in back!..or spread them out in yard!..not close together..one will be louder than the other..i would use the smaller for music fill in!

A:AnswerIt really depends on what “loud enough” means for you, If I were you doing a party for 40 people I’d get the 710 for the fact that will be louder, im not sure the 310 can host a party for 40 people being an owner of one myself, especially outdoors
