“90% of the reviews I seen for this microwave state that the control panel is not properly lit. Granted, most of the reviews are from a few years ago, If you have a newer unit can you confirm if the control panel is well lit or not well lit.”

The control panel is a problem. We have our microwave for 2 years and the some keys on control panel are not working anymore. There are no replacement parts and we have to replace the whole unit. Poorly made with no recourse or remorse from Jenn Aire. Try getting something else if you have a choice.
