- Answer Many things it could be. Could be the format or program you are using on player. Check speaker settings and see if you are getting signal.

- Answer I think the sound quality is excellent but then again I'm sure there's cd players like Bose that probably play a lot better at a much higher price. This is a subjective answer but I'm happy with the sound quality provided by the Jensen cd player.
