• The foam earpieces are about 2 inches long and wide when I measured them (they are totally circular). When I wear them, they cover 90% of my ears.

• Obviously depending on the size of your ear, no, they do not fully cover the ear. These are not like Beats headphones or any headphones that fully cover the ear. However, what they are is lightweight. They don't cause headaches or earaches that full over-ear headphones cause. They also don't cause inner ear irritation that the in-ear headphones can cause. However, because of the design, they do not cut out ambient noise.
