No. The DLC are but game is physical. there is a digital by purchasing at the eshop

No, i purchased a physical copy and thankful was able to get a good deal on price.

I purchased the physical copy since wife wanted to have family fun with our 4 year old. It is the card type where you insert into the console, but I believe you can pay for it online and download it as well.
