A:AnswerWe installed this in a 1999 Ford F-150. 1999 will accept a double din radio, but there were some things to cut out to make room for it. It is not as simple as just replacing the radio.It took about an 1 1/2 hours to install. I would look on YouTube to see if there is a video install for a 1998.
A:AnswerThis fit my 2010 Nissan Altima S. You can fit most units in most cars (U.S.) ex. If you have a single din almost if not all aftermarket single din units will fit you just need the correct install kits. Same goes for double din. There are kits that will fit a single din unit in a car with a double din spot.
Fyi as well I had BB install my deck because it required cutting part of the plastic bracket for the stock deck. I mostly have done my own install on Ford and Chevy. With these older cars I was able to fit whatever deck I had at the time in there.
