“How well does the external microphone work for bluetooth calls? I currently use a Jabra speakerphone on my windshield visor. I'd love to get rid of it, but not sure how well these in-dash bluetooth receivers work. I'm assuming you can hear the other party fine since you can just crank up the volume on your stereo, right? Also, how well can the other party hear you when you place on your phone via bluetooth connection to this receiver?”

• The microphone has about a 6 foot cable and can be positioned up by the driver visor usually fairly easily. The microphone works well in this location, everyone has been able to hear just fine.

• As long as you have the microphone installed somewhere around the dash board closest to the drivers seat it does just fine. There are options on setting up the microphone to achieve the best connection.
