A:AnswerDon’t know if this matters, but My kit was for an Escape. I don’t know exactly, but I seem to remember the kit costing around $25. The USB assembly was installed where the cigarette lighter was, so no additional holes. The mic was mounted on top of the steering column.
A:AnswerThis unit will not play DVDs when the car is in motion. This is for safety and to prevent driver distraction. It will play DVDs when the car is in "park" or shut off. Probably you would need a separate DVD player to serve the back screens when in motion.
A:AnswerCall the Best Buy Installers or Geek Squad and they can tell you if the JVC will fit your car. They can also answer about Bluetooth and Carplay. There is a USB outlet in the back of the unit that requires a USB cable to be run into the dash or, in my case the glove compartment. There is also an audio jack in the back of the unit which can be run alongside the USB able to the dash. I use the audio jack cable to conserve power in my phone, instead of Bluetooth. I used this: "BATIGE USB 3.0 & 3.5mm Car Mount Flush Cable (6ft)".
A:AnswerYes you do and Best Buy sells them. At the Providence store in Mt Juliet they have a installer named Landon that is an incredable installer that I would HIGHLY recommend.
A:AnswerItems in the box:
Headunit
Headunit harness
Speaker wires
Mic
Mount screws
I have a 2006 G35, but my vehicle stereo mount was sufficient. I just had to drill new holes to match the headunit's. Unless you also have something similar, you more than likely would need a mount.
A:AnswerAs long as they connect the factory camera input to the JVC it will show on the screen. I had to have a camera installed on my 01 Yukon that originally did not have one. The camera display is nice and it has the parking guidelines that are adjustable.
