Buy a marine radio instead - they make them in the same form factor as this radio, search this site. 2. Buy a marine radio cover to protect this non-marine radio (Metra makes them, Best Buy has them on this website). 3. Buy cheap radios and replace as required. Note there are marine speakers too that are water resistant, if your son intends to get deep into wheeling.
