I know that there is like a cradle that my radio sits in so that it will sit flush with the dash in my car. The radio is only sold as a radio since I’m sure each car designed and shaped differently it would be easier to sell the added parts separately than to sell the package made specific to particular cars. I think there is also a set of connections from the radio to the car that have to be made. Mine came up to less than $30 altogether when all was said and done. I’m sure the prices vary depending on make and model. If possible I would suggest going to the Bestbuy installation area and let them check the price and give you a clearer explanation.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. To replace stock car stereo, you need a new plastic frame to fit into the slot. If you’re replacing an existing third party stereo you probably don’t need extra hardware
