I placed the microphone just above the steering column close to the dash board and I don't have any problem.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This is the placement of microphone on my toyota camry. I have tested the microphone using an android app and listen to recorded voice. When driving, it picks up my voice (recorded sound volume is much lower (sounds like far away), and lots of background noise). When stopped, then usually I do not have much problem with both phone conversation, and google assistant. When I am driving more than 30 mph, phone conversation will barely work, other person will not understand me until i repeat few times. Also, google assistant will not understand what I am saying. Could it be the faulty microphone, or just my car with too much wind or something?
