“I've recently purchased these earbuds. I've had them for almost two weeks now. Does anyone notice that their pair has a funny smell to them? Not rubbery smell. Its an odd smell.”

Mine stopped working after two weeks, but bestbuy wouldn't replacethem for me.

Not that I’ve noticed. Maybe there’s some machine oil from the manufacturing process on them? I’d try to wipe them down with a disposable electronics wipe maybe.
