QuestionCan I mount this to metal studs without using any additional support?

- Answer Jeff, We can only recommend the installation methods that are in our manual using the provided hardware to install into wood or concrete walls. Metal studs are hollow and do not provide the structure necessary for our lag bolts to grip into. For this type of installation we recommend consulting a professional installer to determine if your wall is able to safely hold the weight of the mount and TV, and how to install correctly. - Answer No this is not made for 24” studs. You would have to screw a backer board on to the studs and the mount this.

QuestionThe center of my mount falls right next tothe stud. I would like to have my TV centered when it is fully push against the wall. Would it be better to mount the arm plate assembly with both center holes and offset the hang& secure on tv ? or the opposite?
