“Is the bottom edge open or does the bumper go all the way around with just holes for speakers and opening for lightning adapter?”

The bottom of the case is completely open with corner bumpers. It’s just your simple slide on / clip on designer jelly case.

Bumper goes ALL around except for buttons and lightning adapter.

The case goes all the way around the phone Leaving only openings for volume buttons, lock, charging ports etc.
