The case is like any other phone case and covers your phone completely. The cards slide into a pocket on the back and do not touch the back of the phone because otherwise they would all slide to the bottom if they were not separate pockets. So far it has kept things nice and tight and nothing has ever fallen out.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.There is no protective barrier. They go right against the back of the phone. However, I do not see how this would scratch the phone. It's a flat surface. There has been no damage to my phone at all.
