Typically a soundbar is handling discrete LCR audio information. This would not replace that functionality and would essentially operate as a mono center. I don’t think this is ideal for your application.

It would work best in a home theater setup because, IMO, you won't need a sound bar after you hear this center channel speaker. This speaker brings the TV voices to life with crystal clear audio so you can hear all the conversations in the programming you are watching. There is a smaller version of this center channel, the KEF Q250, If you don't have room for something this large. Pair this speaker with two floorstanding speakers or two bookshelf speakers (plus a subwoofer) and you'll have a great sound setup that will make you wonder why you ever bought a sound bar. Good luck!
