- Answer c. 1.75 to 2.00 inches clearance at its widest. The clamp bracket itself is about 2.5" interior measurement. The clamp grips the top of the desk and tightens from below. The platform is c. 27" wide & 10.5" deep (not including the curved front edge), large enough for a full 17" keyboard w/ keypad. There is then likely room for a mouse, but I keep my mouse on the desktop.

QuestionWas this supposed to come with screws? I got my keyboard tray just now. It has the two black pieces for both sides, but on the picture it looks like there's screws that are supposed to come with it and my package has none.

QuestionThe front of my desk is not square. There is a slight curve. Is that going to be a problem with clamping the tray? I am not sure if the slight curvature will prevent both clamps from securely fastening the tray to the desk. Tray in pic is broke.
