This is a double din unit. If your car has a double din radio / tape player / cd player it should fit. If the dash slot for your existing radio is twice the size of a standard slot for a radio then you have a double din unit that will swap out just fine. This model Kenwood comes with its own cage. You may have to purchase adaptive wiring harness so that the old radio harness will fit to the new radio and your system will work properly on the existing speakers. Your local Bestbuy installer should be able to tell you if your existing Radio system is a double din model. Double DIN is the same with as a standard radio frame but 2 times taller so its shaped more like a Square box than a rectangular box. I had the unit you are considering installed in a 2003 Volvo S40 for my son. It transformed his car audio. He loves it and I was so impressed that I am considering the same unit for my 2002 F150 truck - which is a double din unit. I hope this helps.
