• Satellite ready means you can plug in a sirus XM module into it. It doesn't have the receiver built in.

• The receiver itself supports sirius xm and has a connection for the sirius attenna. You will need to purchase the attenna if you don't already have one. Once the attenna is connected and you have the sirius service you ae good to go.
