If you have spotify on your Android or iOS phone you can use spotify on the stereo. Your phone must be connected over USB.

No. But you can play Spotify via bluetooth and it will display all the content and allow you to control playback. What I use is Android Auto. Plug it in via USB and you can use voice control for Spotify via the Kenwood Unit. It will allow you to view you playlists, change stations, album art, etc.
