Yes you will need a separate adapter to retain steering wheel controls and additional stock controls which is around $100-$150. It comes with a Mike which is needed to use Bluetooth. Yes you can change the illumination. I would recommend a different model which does Android Auto and CarPlay over Bluetooth vs wired.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.yes it does require an adaptor to use you're steering wheel controls. and i believe the radio already comes with a microphone. i drive a 2017 jeep cherokee and i need a maestro rr adaptor and you might need a new radio frame. im getting mine installed in may. based on the videos ive seen on youtube it looks like you can change the illumination colors. i suggest searching the radio on youtube if you want a video review or more details of the radio. good luck
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I believe it does need a module to work with the steering wheel controls. I installed it into a 2006 Subaru Impreza that didn’t have them, however all aftermarket stereos I have bought use some sort of module, sold separately. It comes with a microphone that works well. You can choose red as the color, as well as others. Hope this helps. A.W.
