Update: I updated the radio and initialized it and it does work now for my iPhone X and iPhone XS through the right iPhone cable to CarPlay.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Since this is app dependent and the radio came out before the iPhone X, it should be fully capable of supporting Apple play on this phone. At most, it would only need an update. I own Samsung and it works fully with the latest model.
