“How is the speed of searching a USB drive for a particular song, album, or artist? I have a similar Pioneer Deck and it is slow when browsing the USB Drive. Slow interface, laggy and long scrolling, no direct search mechanism. I want something better.”

Kenwood is usually fast about this but it also depends on the USB drive you're using and how many files you have stored. If you want to find out for sure I would go to your local Bestbuy that has this unit in stock and bring your usb stick to try it.
