I have a 2009 Dodge Caliber (not a very large car) and it fit great and looks like it was a factory installed radio. I only had to purchase the $19.99 dash kit to match the dash fit. If you want SiriusXM you will need to buy the adapter for it which I believe cost me $49.99 and additional $39.99 to install. I bought it so I could take my receiver off my dash top. It was worth it to buy so that it was one less thing I had to plug into my cigarette lighter and blocking my view while driving. Hope that helps you in your decision.
