how is the camera mounted null

There is a sticky backed plastic mount. It’s permanent mounted on the window. But the camera itself can be unattached from the mount. Mines hidden behind my rear view mirror.

I followed the instructions in my book, but it's pretty easy. This Dash Cam doesn't come with a suction cup so be sure that you have calculated exactly where you want the camara to go. Then just peel off protector and stick it to window, then camara just slides ride into place. And walla!!! You've mounted your camara.

It has a sticky surface that mounts on any flat surface. It suggests up behind the rear view mirror and that’s where I put mine. It’s not easy to remove if you want to use it on more than one vehicle! That issue should be addressed by the manufacturer.
