QuestionIs there a reason why I have no audio when viewing playback from sim card on my PC? I have turned on sound on the cam. But for some reason, video is clear but no audio.

- Answer I had this exact same problem. Plays the video perfectly but no sound on Media Player or anything on your comp. That's because you need to download the free program from the unit's website. I only just now found it in the instruction manual. Here's the link: https://www.kenwood.com/car/app/kenwood_route_watcher2/eng/ It'll only play the sound if you're playing the file in this program. Good luck. :)

QuestionIs this device meant to be plugged into the power source all the time when driving. I was using this after purchasing it, and I only got 20 minutes of battery life. Is that normal or is mine defective?

- Answer Check the outlet and make sure you are getting 12V. Yes, it should have active power while driving and then use battery power when parked.

- Answer You would need to get another mount for it which I don't think is currently available. Suction mounts aren't a good idea since the camera might go flying in an accident. You want it to be able to continue to film during the accident out the windshield.

QuestionDoes anyone use this were it gets really hot? Just wondering how it holds up past 100 degrees, as I live in a desert and it gets past 100 more than 30 days every summer.

- Answer I was disappointed that the book states you can only use up to 32g but the camera is so awesome in every other way I chose to live with it... This weekend I installed a 128 gig from another camera, formatted it from the camera menu and it worked perfectly and stored an entire day on the trails.. Now to get another 128g card for the rear camera!

- Answer Mine came with a 16g card, I recently found you can use a 128g card (manual states 32g max) Mine works with a 128g, could be later model, don't know and cannot say that it'll work in all DRV-320. Yes the GPS is built in and you can choose to display in the video. You can also choose to display speed as well.

- Answer Yes, yes it does. You'll need to follow the directions to turn it on and to partition the SD card to make it work. It only lasts about 25 minutes, if I recall correctly.

- Answer There is a sticky backed plastic mount. It’s permanent mounted on the window. But the camera itself can be unattached from the mount. Mines hidden behind my rear view mirror.

- Answer This device is pretty much meant to record your driving activity. It can also monitor your car when off for short periods of time. These batteries are designed for about 20 minutes or so of life when not connected to a power source. What you would like to do is possible, but you'll need to invest in a serious batter pack to sustain the power overnight. If the car is off and the camera is set to detect motion, that battery will only last for about 20 minutes as stated before. Your best bet to monitor the car is by investing in a WiFi security camera. There are many kinds out there at different price points.

- Answer Yes it is the plug in kind. To either a lighter or power port. And why wouldn't you?? If plugged in you do not have to worry about batteries running down.

- Answer You can go into settings and format the MicroSD card in there. Also the camera over-writes itself so there is really no need to delete the content of the memory card.
