Yes it does. I've played MP3 CD's in it. But it's easier if you buy any size USB to download all your songs, then make sure to use http://www.ridgecrop.demon.co.uk/index.htm?guiformat.htm to format in FAT32 and save your data. Then you can play 128 gigs with a single flash drive instead of 600 meg on a CD.
