QuestionDoes anyone know what the diameter of the mounting ball is? I am going to upgrade the mount so the phone will stay still. The one that comes with the unit is not very good.

- Answer I apologize but Kenwood's manual for the device doesn't show a measurement for the mounting ball.

QuestionHas this device caused the car fire for anybody else other than me cause today mine decided to randomly just start heating up and finally it caught fire damaging around my cigarette lighter of my car

- Answer I do apologize but there hasn't been any reports. I would advise to contact Kenwood directly over the phone to document and make a report about the issue and see what they can do for you.

QuestionI have the 11 Pro w/ Apple's smart battery case plus a wallet holder on the back (its thick and heavy.) Would this phone holder be able to easily hold onto this phone while driving and be able to charge wirelessly?

- Answer With your phone case already having a battery on it plus a wallet holder considering that it would be too heavy this would not hold the phone correctly and would be issues of the Kenwood charger dropped or not closing correctly. This wouldn't work. You would need to have a smaller case or eliminate the case on the phone.

- Answer Yes it can , it can adjust fairly easily . The only suggestion I would make is to insert your phone while stopped . If you don’t be prepared for the sensor to go off every few seconds . You can get around it by putting your phone to the cradle or disconnecting the power .

- Answer Depending on possibly the thickness of the case it really depends if it will or will not. I apologize that the case maybe an issue. You can always test it out and if you are not stratified you can return the item within Best Buys return policy.

- Answer Hi Leslee, After 3 months of having this product in my car I can confirm that it will work with most wireless charging phones including my daily driver the Galaxy Note 10 + 5G. My other friends who have traveled with me have the base Note 10+, S20 etc have had no issues with connection or charging as well as myself. It charges decently fast too. Hope this Helps, Ryu

- Answer James, It could very well be the case thats preventing it from charging as some protective cases aren't compatible with with wireless charging devices. Have you had any issues or tested it with other wireless chargers? Hope the is is of some help, Ryu

QuestionHas anyone had the feature where you just hold your phone in front of the mount and the brackets automatically open suddnely stop working? I can still open the brackets manually by pressing the side button. Were you able to get it to start working again?

- Answer The charger has a sensor that will detect the phone and the brackets will expand to allow you to mount your phone. Is this not working? If you need assistance with the operation or function please call Kenwood directly to help you troubleshoot or submit a warranty claim with them.
