- Answer Hard to answer your question without model numbers, but the Slim has a reservoir tank in back you keep filled with water. The Mini your have to fill with water each time you brew a cup.

Our specifications for all Keurig coffee makers currently being produced require that materials used in the water paths are only industry standard materials that do not contain BPA and meet or exceed Food & Drug Administration guidelines for product safety.
