This machine is much quieter than my previous coffee maker, I have to look at it sometimes to make sure I have pushed the button to start because I can't hear anything.

This coffee maker is soooooo quiet you will wonder if it is even on. If it's silence you want you won't be dissapointed.

Very quiet --- much more so than the regular Keurig that I have for home use.

Thanks for your question. The K-Slim will make some noise during pre-heating and then a pumping noise while brewing. We hope this helps!
