Asked by Garland.
- A:Answer Similar to other household appliances, Keurig coffee makers require basic maintenance in order to keep them clean and functioning properly. For best results, we recommend descaling every 3-6 months using our descaling solution to keep the coffee maker free from scale or lime build up. Vinegar may also be used. The water reservoir should be cleaned weekly by wiping it with a damp, soapy, lint-free, non-abrasive cloth and rinsing thoroughly. We hope this helps!

Q: QuestionDoes this this replace the regular line scale removing. Is this all you need to clean?
Asked by Chip.
- A:Answer No it does not. The rinse pods clean the part of the machine that dispenses the coffee. The descaler solution cleans the inside of the machine and should be used every few months.

Q: QuestionIf it positions like a k-cup how does it clean the workings on the inside?
Asked by Ernie.
- A:Answer For those who answered by saying it cleans the needles; per the manufacturer it *does not clean the needles*. This will only clean the reservoir of where the coffee runs through. I personally just remove the K-cup holder and soak it hot soapy water. While that is soaking I run an 8oz cycle of just plain water. Walla! All clean and it’s free!
