The link you provided points to the KICKER 44DCWC102, the dual 10" CompC loaded enclosure. This enclosure is rated at to handle 600 Watts RMS and 1,200 Watts Peak. For maximum performance of your speaker systems, KICKER recommends using an amplifier that is rated to produce +/- 20% Watts RMS of your speaker systems RMS rated power. So, with a 600 Watt RMS rated speaker system, KICKER recommends using an amplifier that falls within the 480-720 Watts RMS range. Always keep in mind that smaller amplifiers will also sound great but just not get you the full output (SPL, loudness) potential of your speaker systems. In your case, you have an amplifier rated at 1000 Watts RMS and is slightly larger than we would recommend. We recommend setting the gains properly (to lower the output into the recommended range) and do not operate your amplifier into clipping.
