• A:Answer Ryan, you must find out what size speakers were originally installed in your vehicle. A six and a half inch speaker will not "fit" in a five and a half inch hole. The amp has nothing to do with this install.

• A:Answer Yes , I have a 2013 GMC Sierra texas edition . I used the speaker Kit from Best Buy also. The speaker housing is loose if you just use the one factory screw , rattles when driving . I drilled a two small holes on the bottom side of the kit. “The holes are already there “ . The two screws to tighten the whole housing. Worked great

• A:Answer Unless you have a power amp attached you won't need any battery changes. I recently installed this set in a '10 Colorado, along with a set of 10" amped subwoofers... the woofers need the power boost, the speakers alone though should meet your desires alone.
