“ive had this product connected to my kx amp for about 1.5 years, recently i had to change my battery, and when i got the new battery its no longer connected to the amp, and now im having a issue connecting it back to the amp, any suggestions?”

If it is not automatically connected after replacing the battery you should just pair it up again. Press the pair button on the amp and the pair button on the remote. If that doesn't work it could be that the real problem was the remote has failed and not just the battery. I recently had to replace the battery in mine and it stayed paired. It did not have any issues. Unfortunately I had to get a new one anyway since my original was lost when my car was recently totalled. The new one immediately paired with my KXA 1200.1 when I did what I described previously on pairing.
