• Hello - Thanks for reaching out with your question! Kinsa thermometers can be used without the app or a mobile phone! To set up your Kinsa thermometer without using the app right out of the box, follow these steps: 1. Find the thermometer's button and click it once to turn it on. 2. Wait for APP to appear on the display 3. With "APP" showing on the display, VERY QUICKLY double-click the same button. (Think the same speed as double-clicking a mouse).
