- Answer It is for children and adults. You do not need any additional equipment to operate it. Kinsa does have an app that can help keep track of temperature but it is not necessary to use the app if you do not want to.

QuestionWhere is the button to turn on the thermometer? It works only after i remove the back cover with a coin and then replace it. It would be easier and quicker to press the "button" but the front cover does not do that.

- Answer No, this makes small beeping sounds when turning on and giving readings. It may be possible to silence the thermometer via the app but I have not looked into it.

- Answer Yes, you will still get the temp reading on the device. Just won’t be able to record reading for future reference. It will with with any smart phone...not just iPhone.

- Answer When you mean nothing happened, does that mean there was no temperature display or that nothing appeared on your smartphone?
