QuestionIs this an interior vented microwave? We do not have outside venting in the space it would go. What are the interior dimensions of the microwave? Would an 12" plate fit inside?

QuestionLooking at Kitchenaid KMMF330PSS and have an opening of 30W 12high and12deep Will this unit fit or I wilI I possibly need a trim kit? Same question for a General Electric model PEM31SFSS? The over the range models are to high and deep to be used.

- Answer Hi Ed. The height of this Microwave is 17 7/8 inches. If the opening would only allow for a product 12 inches in height, it will not fit. Unfortunately, we are unable to speak on the General Electric model.

- Answer Hello, for model KMMF330PPS If installing the microwave near a right side wall, make sure there is at least 3" (7.6 cm) of clearance between the wall and microwave oven so you can grab the handle integrated inside the door. Thank you for your inquiry about our KitchenAid appliances.

QuestionDoes the fan come on everytime the microwave is in use? Will the FIN on the upper portion of the microwave still open if it is vented to the OUTSIDE? I need to know this. Ty.

- Answer Hello, model KMMF330PPS, KitchenAid® Microwave, the fan will only come on if you press the fan or if the controls get too hot, it will then come on automatically. If you have the Microwave vented to the outside, you may still feel some air from the top vent. This is normal. Thank you for your inquiry on our KitchenAid appliances.

QuestionCurrently have KitchenAid khms155ls-3 microwave which measures out to a little less than 30” wide. The cabinets were built tightly wrapped around it with no extra space. Will this current model fit? What other models fit?
