• Sue, model KMCS1016GSS is only compatible with Trim Kit part numbers MK2160AS and MK2167AS.

• The KCMS185J unit has dimensions HxWxD 13 9/16x18 13/16x23 7/8 and the KMCS1016GSS unit has dimensions 13x17 1/4x21 3/4. I could not find the center opening dimensions of your trim kit but it seems from the microwave dimensions that the KMCS1026GSS has smaller size than your original unit. The new unit should fit but will have extra space around the sides and top where you will be able to see into the opening the trim kit is surrounding. The other thing you should consider is the finish of the trim kit compared to the finish of the microwave unit you are considering.
