“This microwave has a shiny cardboard piece covering a rectangular shaped opening on the inside top side. The installation and users manual make no mention of this piece and I am wondering if it needs to be removed for proper operation.”

• What I know so far, all microwaves that I had before have that shiny cardboard. I I didn't heard or read that have to be removed.
