QuestionI am replacing an existing Kitchenaid OTR Microwave (KHHC2090SWH-1). Will this microwave use the same bracket?

- Answer It used the same bracket as my old Whirlpool OTR from like 2013. I would bet its the same, but its easy enough to check after you get the old one down. I literally held the new one up to the old one while it was still attached...

QuestionCan the Kitchen Aid over the range convection/microwave ( model kmhc319ess) be installed in a space that does not have outside venting? There isn't venting now over the range mw. Is recirculating filter/vent adequate for convection feature?

- Answer i8chocolate, the Microwave can be either vented to the exterior or recirculating, but it does comes set at recirculating. - Answer I have a gas range and from the top grate it is 17 inches to the bottom of the microwave, Imwould not go any lower than that.

- Answer Its actually pretty simple. You will also need to put the included convection oven rack in the microwave and select either bake or roast under the convect lettering. Its off to the left side top row.

QuestionThis microwave has a shiny cardboard piece covering a rectangular shaped opening on the inside top side. The installation and users manual make no mention of this piece and I am wondering if it needs to be removed for proper operation.

- Answer I love the steamer that came with this microwave. Put a little water on the bottom of the pan, cover and use the steamer options. Veggies turn out wonderful.

- Answer Yes, this has a combination function. Just note, the time of the cooking cycle when using the combination function is not displayed until it is almost over.

QuestionDoes this microwave/convection above the oven appliance cook similar to the ovens used at Starbucks? It seems like Starbucks microwave AND convection cook (or air fry) at the same time. Their sandwich always have the right amount of crust.

QuestionThis microwave was configured to vent through the roof, but the suction at the bottom is poor. I noticed that the vent at the top of the door is sucking air in as well. Is it supposed to be sucking air in there as well as the bottom when roof venting?
