How can I empty the ice tray? null

Open the refrigerator door with the water dispenser and you will see a latch to then open the ice maker. Once that is opened, you can lift the tray out and empty the ice bin.

There is a release mechanism that easily allows the bin to be released from inside the refrigerator door. There is no ice tray per se.
