• I believe 'SS' is regular stainless steel and 'PS' is Print-Shield (fingerprint) stainless. Check manufacturer's website to be sure. The Fingerprint stainless is great. Matches my other (regular) stainless steel just fine.

• The only difference in the surface is that one is stainless steel (ESS) whereas the other is print shield stainless steel (GPS).
