• it's actually stainless. if u look it up in kitchenaid's website that's what u will see ours said the same thing on best buys page

• FYI-ferritic stainless steels are generally magnetic while austenitic stainless steels usually are not.

• The inside is all stainless, so not sure why it says 'other'

• Don't know why Best Buy list the tub material as other. On the kitchenaid site it shows as stainless steel. Which it is!
